Writing these short stories has allowed me to reconnect with people in a way I hope helps them. As well as it has helped me not only to write about what I went through but how to look within yourself to solve the problem; you already know how to solve it; my books will be a reminder as to how to make your life work for you again in the manner you see fit.
For the most part, you will find my stories short, and this is because my goal is to give you the inspiration you need to start documenting in the attached journals and or day planners; this is so important to you re-gaining the life you want, the life you deserve.
Hopefully, the Upheaval story should be a connection to others whose lives have virtually become unhinged in recent months and the past few years as if someone pulled the wrong thread on your favorite sweater.
I had to dig deep within myself to keep my focus on healing and working with what I had left instead of crying or whining about what I had lost; it is not an easy thing to do.
In my youthful days, I signed up for the Army National Guard. First, I worked as a recruiter. Then, I worked in logistics while in the Army National Guard.
I have had many jobs in my lifetime. I spent most of my time working on what I called my side hustles, trying to take care of my two children, who are adults now; by the grace of God, they survived well, being raised by a single mother most of their childhood.
Before becoming disabled, I worked on the last job for over twenty-one years. Most people around me will at least state one thing about me, I am loyal and dedicated to anything I do.
I love sharing my knowledge with others, hoping it will help them embrace life’s obstacles that sometimes become so overwhelming that you don’t want to get out of bed.
One of the most complex parts of dealing with everyday obstacles is when you feel like the (Click) in your office is always trying to get to know you for all of the wrong reasons, trust me when I say keep them at arm’s length never give the (chatty Kathy’s) fuel to add to the fire.
You will find at least one of my books will help guide you through these types of issues; make sure to keep documenting in your journals so you can look back on how to handle this same issue when it arrives again.
Remember, it’s okay to give yourself a little bit of a break, nobody, and I mean nobody, is perfect.

Strategies for Obtaining and Maintaining Inner Peace
So you’re working toward inner peace. Perhaps you’ve already settled into a harmonious routine, and you feel like you’ve already found the tranquility you’ve been seeking. But your journey doesn’t end there. Nope, it’s a lifelong endeavor to maintain your happiness and fulfillment. It’s not something to fret over, though. It’s an exciting journey – and it starts here:
It is what it is
You’ve heard the saying, and you’ve probably said it yourself. But have you lived up to it? Every time you try to fight what life is handing you, you’re just creating a struggle for yourself. So, this is one of those practices that are ongoing. The practice accepts that it is what it is in each moment.
Confront your feelings

What does success mean? It’s a little hard to define, in part because success can mean so many different things to every one of us. Add to that the fact that even when we’re talking about reaching the same goal or doing the same thing, what we consider successful can vary, and it gets even more complicated. Let’s look at two students, for example. One of them may consider getting a “C” in Math a big success, while the other counts’ anything other than an “A” a failure. Success then means reaching the goals you set for yourself.
There are two definitions of success I want to share with you. By the way, if you look up the definition of success (online or in that old set of encyclopedias), you’ll find that there are quite a few more definitions. However, these are the two that matter for this discussion.
- Success is the accomplishment of an aim or purpose.
- And a person who achieves desired aims or attains prosperity.
In each definition, I highlighted the keywords where I wanted to focus. The two aspects of success are to accomplish a goal and to gain prosperity. For some people, success means having a purpose and serving others. Their definition of success may include having a happy and stable
